अमन समिति की शुरूआत करने के पीछे मेरा उद्देश्य था – समाज में प्रेम, सौहार्द्र और भाईचारे का वातावरण बनाए रखने का प्रयास करना। मैंने कई लोगों एवं कुछ संस्थाओं को समाज में धर्म एवं जाति के नाम पर द्वेष एवं घृणा फैलाने का प्रयास करते हुए पाया, और साथ ही कई बार उन नकारात्मक प्रयासों को काफी हद तक सफल होते हुए भी पाया, तो मुझे लगा जब द्वेष और घृणा का प्रसार किया जा सकता है तो प्रेम और भाईचारे का प्रचार-प्रसार क्यों नहीं किया जा सकता है? मैंने सोचा कि चाहे कम ही क्षमता में क्यों न हो सके पर इस सकारात्मक प्रयास को करना जरूरी है, और तब मैंने अमन समिति की शुरूआत की।
हमारा समाज तब ही तीव्र एवं संतुलित प्रगति कर सकता है जब समाज में लोग एक-दूसरे के प्रति सहानुभूति, समझ और सहयोग का भाव रखें। अमन समिति इस विश्वास के साथ काम कर रही है कि छोटी-छोटी कोशिशें एक बड़ा बदलाव ला सकती हैं। मुझे गर्व है कि हमारी यात्रा केवल पटना तक सीमित नहीं रही, बल्कि अन्य स्थानों पर भी फैल रही है।
मेरा आप सबसे यही अनुरोध है कि आप भी इस मुहिम का हिस्सा बनें एवं समाज में शांति और भाईचारे की इस लौ को जलाए रखें।

The reason behind starting the Aman Samiti was my desire to make an effort toward maintaining an environment of love, harmony and brotherhood in society. I witnessed several individuals and organizations trying to spread hatred and animosity in the name of religion and caste. At times, I also saw such negative efforts gaining considerable success. That made me wonder—if hatred and division can be spread, then why can’t love and unity be promoted?
I felt that even if it could be done on a small scale, this positive effort was necessary—and that’s when I decided to begin the Aman Samiti.
Our society can only achieve rapid and balanced progress when people have empathy, understanding and a spirit of cooperation towards one another. Aman Samiti works with the belief that even small efforts can bring about significant change. I take pride in the fact that our journey hasn’t remained confined to Patna but has expanded to other places as well.
I sincerely urge all of you to become a part of this mission and help keep the flame of peace and brotherhood alive in society.
